We offer two sizes of the Stanley London^® Three-Leg Brass Desk Compass. Both are beautiful and functional highly polished solid brass desk accessories. The smaller compass has a 1.4 inch (3.6 cm) diameter lid that flips up to reveal a compass. The brass flange on the smaller compass is 2 1/4 inches (6 cm) in diameter, the compass is 1.5 inches tall with the lid closed, and weighs 5.9 ounces (167 grams).
The larger 3-leg compass is approximately 25 percent larger with a 1 3/4 inch (4.4 cm) diameter lid, 2 9/16 inch (6.6 cm) diameter flange, the compass is 2 inches (5.1 cm) tall with the lid closed, and weighs 8.4 ounces (238 grams). The compass rose of the larger compass is marked "Stanley London" and the compass has a more accurate arrow-shaped needle.
The top of the lid of either compass can be custom engraved with your personalized text or artwork.

Our Stanley London^® Premium Quality Round Desk Compass is machined from solid brass and plated with gold. The compass has a removable lid, and under the cover glass is a beautiful detailed compass rose with one-degree resolution marked "Stanley London." The high quality jeweled compass needle settles to North very quickly. The compass is 2 1/16-inches (52.5 mm) in diameter, 5/8 inches (16 mm) tall, and has a very substantial weight of 4 ounces (113 grams). This elegant compass makes a beautiful addition to a compass collection or executive's desk. The lid is recommended for personalized engraving up to 32 words, and the bottom of the compass has room for an additional longer message. The inside of the lid can also be engraved, but as it is a machined surface and not polished smooth, engraving is easier to read on the top of the lid or the bottom.

We are proud to offer the Aluminum Desk Compass in Round Mahogany Case. The compass case is sculpted from seasoned solid mahogany and is then expertly sanded, stained, and finished with 12 coats of hand-rubbed lacquer finish for a handsome piano-finish. The Aluminum Desk Compass in Round Mahogany Case makes the perfect desk accessory or home decoration, and the foam feet on the base of the compass prevent any scratching to your fine furniture. The Aluminum Desk Compass in Round Mahogany Case is 3 inches (76 mm) in diameter, 1 3/8 inches (35 mm) tall, and weighs 3.5 ounces (100 grams). Its hinged lid opens to reveal a 1 3/8 inches (35 mm) diameter silver compass.
It also includes a round silver aluminum plaque intended for engraving up to 30 words on six to seven lines. Sorry, black oxidizing is not available for aluminum plaques.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful Hinged Captain's Rosewood Desk Compass. The Captain's Desk Compass is made from solid rosewood with no veneers or secondary woods. If you have ever priced rosewood, you know that it is so expensive that it is sold by the inch rather than by the foot.
The Hinged Captain's Rosewood Desk Compass is 3 inches (7.6 cm) square and 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm) tall. The highly accurate jeweled compass is 2 1/16 inches (5.2 cm) in diameter and has a beautiful detailed antique compass rose with a resolution of one degree.
The inside lid of the compass can be fitted for a custom brass plaque with up to 7 words per line and 10 lines maximum.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful brass compass in a solid mahogany hinged case. The mahogany is protected by clear lacquer and hand polished to a deep rich hard finish. The bottom of the compass case is covered with felt.
The Mahogany Compass is 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) square, 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm) tall, and weighs 6.4 ounces (181 grams). Its hinged lid opens to reveal a 2 inch (5.1 cm) diameter air damped brass compass. The compass features a compass card and a standard lensatic glass bezel with two lines at 45 degree angles. The bezel rotates with detents.
Custom brass plaques are available for the top or the front of the outside of the case, and / or a larger 2 3/4 inch (7 cm) square plaque can be mounted on the inside lid of the compass.

Our Stanley London^® antique reproduction Paperweight Compasses (or Chart Compass) are crafted from solid brass and most come with beautiful brass-inlaid hardwood boxes. Mariners would unroll their nautical charts and use these compasses on the corners to hold the charts flat.
Both our small 2 inch (5 cm) diameter and our large 3 inch (7.6 cm) diameter paperweight compasses can easily be removed from their felt lined solid hardwood cases. The bottom of the compasses are covered with felt. The brass compasses are solid and heavy, the small model weighing 5 ounces (142 grams) and the larger model weighing 12 ounces (340 grams). The small hinged hardwood case is 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) square and 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall, and the compass with case weighs 7.4 ounces (210 grams). The larger hinged hardwood case is 3 7/16 inches (3.7 cm) square, 1 1/8 inches (2.9 cm) tall, and the compass with case weighs 1 pound 1 ounce (482 grams).
The brass compasses can be custom engraved in arc-shaped lettering around the top of the compasses. The bezel of the small compasses can be engraved with a maximum of 9 - 12 words, while the bezel of the larger compasses can be engraved with a maximum of 12 - 16 words. The hardwood cases have an inlaid brass emblem that is intended to be custom engraved with initials or a monogram.

Our Liquid Damped Luminescent Paperweight Compass is clear-coated brass and features a modern liquid-damped compass that quickly settles to North. The North end of the compass needle has a luminescent dot that glows in the dark. The clear-coated brass resists fingerprints and never needs polishing. The bottom of the compass is covered with felt. The Liquid Damped Luminescent Paperweight Compass is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) thick, and the compass weighs 2.3 ounces (66.5 grams).
The brass bezel of the Liquid Damped Luminescent Paperweight Compass can be custom engraved with a maximum of 10 - 13 words in arc-shaped lettering. A custom engraved brass plaque can be mounted on the top of and/or the inside lid of the hardwood case with the recipient's name, a personal message, or a company logo.
