Stanley London offers a beautiful precision pocket watch from Grants of Dalvey in Scotland.
Redolent of gentlemen's timepieces from a bygone era, the Dalvey Half Hunter Pocket Watches combine Dalvey practicality with Swiss precision watch making. In the great age of discovery, steam trains carried vital supplies and diplomatic envoys across vast territories of the Empire. Then, as now, time was of the essence and an essential accouterment for the gentleman of the day was the pocket watch. Although centuries old, by the Victorian age the pocket watch personified the apotheosis of progress and technical refinement. The Dalvey Half Hunter Pocket Watch features a 17 Jewel Swiss mechanical movement with a round window in the lid so the time can be read without opening the cover.
