Dalvey St. Elmo Travel Alarm Clock
in Polished Stainless Steel Case
$205
In threatening weather at sea, pale sparks of static electricity can be seen dancing around the mastheads of ships.
Sailors in the Mediterranean call this the "corposant" from corpo santo or "holy body"
and believe it is a sign from their patron saint, St. Elmo.
The electro-luminescent face of the Dalvey St. Elmo Clock is activated by light pressure on the top of the clock case,
thus removing the need to fumble around in the dark to find a switch.
Simply pressing the top activates the electro-luminescent face.
The quality Japanese quartz alarm movement has a second hand and piezoelectric alarm.
The case is highly polished to give a beautiful finish that will not tarnish.
The perimeter of the inside case is stamped with the time zones of major world cities.
The front of the case has a blank Dalvey badge that is intended to be custom engraved
with the recipient's initials, a monogram, or a short name.
Because of the oval shape of the front badge, monograms are preferred to initials.
Three initials or a monogram cost only $11.20 to professionally engrave and
usually will not delay the shipping of your order.
Our engraving and shipping status is updated hourly:
The back of the case is plain and can be engraved with a longer personal message.
The Dalvey St. Elmo Clock case is 3 1/16 inches (7.8 cm) in diameter, 1 3/16 inch (3.0 cm) thick,
and weighs 6.3 ounces (179 grams).
