True stained glass is made from carefully cut small pieces of glass, arranged to form patterns or pictures, and held together by hand soldering strips of copper.  Stained glass requires the artistic skill to conceive a beautiful and workable design, and the engineering skills to assemble the piece.  More commonly these days you find faux stained glass made from mass produced sheets of glass that have simply been painted and sometimes re-fired to give the appearance of real stained glass.  We offer true handmade nautical stained glass that will not flake or fade, and will maintain its beauty and value for years to come.
