Brass Armillary Sphere Sundial $38
This is a beautiful solid brass decorative antique reproduction of an Armillary Sphere Sundial.
The Armillary Sphere's arrow points polar North and the gnomon casts a shadow onto the equatorial band
which is etched with Roman numerals to indicate the local time.
While it can be used to actually tell time, most use this sundial as decoration inside their home or office.
The heavy solid brass base is mounted to a beautiful piece of turned solid hardwood, and the bottom
is covered with felt.
The Armillary Sphere has a stable 5 1/4 inch (13.3 cm) base, and the sundial measures 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm) tall,
the rings are 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter, and the sundial weighs 1 pound, 9.5 ounces (723 grams).
The brass base can be custom engraved in curved arc-shaped lettering.
