This is a fascinating and unique brass reproduction of a spherical desk clock with a skeleton face.
It has hemispherical glass lenses on both the front and back, and you can see a
magnified view of the 17-jewel clock mechanism move both the front and the back.
The back lens has a small ground flat area so it will sit upright on a flat surface.
The body of the clock is solid brass.
The clock weighs 7.9 ounces (224 grams) and measures 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) in diameter.
The clock has a 17-jewel movement and its speed can be adjusted by removing the back
and adjusting a lever near the spring.
