beautifully detailed compass rose pendant.

The compass rose design on the pendant incorporates the traditional Fleur-de-lis design.
A Fleur-de-lis figure evolved from the initial "T" in the north wind's name Tramontane,
and is used to indicate the north direction.
Similarly, the east was marked with a graphic for Levante, indicating the direction of Jerusalem
from the point of view of the Mediterranean sea.
The bail that connects the pendant to a chain is also crafted with this beautiful Fleur-de-lis design.
The numbers around each quadrant of the perimeter of the compass rose pendant represent 0 - 90 degrees.

Rhodium belongs to the Platinum group of metals, and is very expensive.
