Surveyor's Compass $55
The Stanley London® Surveyor's Compass is a beautiful 3 5/8 inches (9 cm) diameter,
1 pound, 4 ounce (564 grams) brass directional compass.
The lid unfolds to produce a sighting bar with a slit sight, and the lid contains a slot with a
replaceable thread to align sights.
The face has a handsome compass rose and a small round spirit level to assist in maintaining level.
The compass is equipped with a needle lift mechanism, found frequently in high quality compasses,
which raises the compass needle off the post to protect the jewel when transporting the compass.
The base has a three-legged mount for setting the compass on a level surface or for display.
The three-legged mount can be unscrewed to mount the compass on a standard surveyor's tripod.
The left side of the compass lid can be custom engraved.
The highly polished solid brass Surveyor's Compass sells for only $55.
We also offer a Polished Brass Prismatic Compass on a Brass Desk Stand.
