Solid Brass and Hardwood Pendulum Inclinometer $35
Solid Brass Bubble Clinometer $29.50
These beautiful Stanley London® solid brass inclinometers are used to measure the heel of a sailboat at sea.
Knowing the heel, or angle of tilt of a sailing vessel, is vital for optimum sail trim, as well as safety.
We offer two models of inclinometers.
The pendulum inclinometer features a low friction weighted brass pendulum that indicates the angle of heel to 1 degree accuracy
over a +/- 30 degrees range.
The pendulum inclinometer has a beveled glass cover and a solid brass case, mounted on turned hardwood base.
The pendulum inclinometer is 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm) in diameter, 1 5/8 inches (4.2 cm) thick, and weighs one pound, eight ounces (680 grams).
The polished brass bubble clinometer has a curved liquid filled glass vial that can measure +/- 40 degrees of tilt.
The clinometer has a glass cover and the polished brass face is marked "CLINOMETER STANLEY LONDON."
The bubble clinometer is 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm) in diameter, 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) thick, and weighs 13.4 ounces (380 grams).
The bezel of the bubble clinometer can be custom engraved with up to 3 lines of text in curved arc-shaped lettering,
maximum 3 - 4 words per line.
The pendulum inclinometer cannot be engraved.
The pendulum inclinometer provides superior performance in full sun and over wide temperature extremes as there is no fluid or bubble.
The pendulum inclinometer sells for $35, and the solid brass clinometer sells for only $29.50.
