This beautiful reproduction of a Confederate Cavalry Officer's Sword has a
33-inch (82.8 cm) tempered steel blade and a blued steel scabbard with polished brass fittings.
Both sides of the blade are beautifully etched and marked "CSA" to designate the Confederate States Army.
The brass hand guard is marked "CS" for the Confederate States, and the sword has a comfortable leather grip with
twisted wire.
The blade is made of tempered high carbon steel and is .215 inches (5.5 mm) thick and 1 3/16 inch (30 mm) wide.
This sword measures 39 inches (99 cm) overall and weighs 2 pounds 7.3 ounces (1.1 kg).
The blued steel and brass scabbard weighs 1 pound, 13.5 ounces (836 grams).
The scabbard can be custom engraved with up to three lines of text.
As the blade is etched on both sides, there is a very limited area for custom engraving on either side of the blade.
Please specify the desired location and orientation of the engraving when ordering.
The sword cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, although you can easily sharpen the blade yourself.
