American Trooper Cavalry Saber
with Twisted Wire Hardwood Grip

This beautiful reproduction of an American Trooper Cavalry Saber has a 33 3/4-inch steel blade and a polished steel scabbard.  The comfortable contoured solid hardwood grip has twisted wire inset into grooves in the wood.  The cavalry saber features a handsome polished cast brass guard for hand protection.  The blade is made of tempered carbon steel and is .225 inch (5.7 mm) thick and 1.2 inches (30.5 mm) wide.  This saber measures 39 3/8 inches (100 cm) overall and weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces (1.2 kg).  The polished steel scabbard has brass accents and weighs 1 pound 13 ounces (0.82 kg).  The blade or the steel scabbard can be custom engraved with one or two lines of text with up to eight words per line.  Please specify the desired location and orientation of the engraving when ordering.  The saber cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, although you can easily sharpen the blade yourself.
