$144 We are proud to offer this beautiful reproduction of a Naval Cutlass. The cutlass features a polished brass basket for hand protection, complete with a decorative image of a ship's anchor. The blade is made of carbon steel and has a length of 26 inches (66 cm). The cutlass cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, although you can easily sharpen the blade yourself. The cutlass has a comfortable hardwood grip and is nicely balanced. The blade can be custom engraved with up to three lines of text on one or both sides. Please specify the desired location and orientation of the engraving when ordering. This Naval Cutlass measures 32 (81.3 cm) inches overall and weighs 2.2 pounds (1 kg). with Leather Scabbard $149 This handsome Navy Boarding Cutlass is polished to a magnificent finish and features a comfortable, ridged hardwood grip. Originally, the Boarding Cutlass was used in the mid-19th century by the Navy as an efficient and effective fighting tool when boarding enemy ships. The Navy Boarding Cutlass is of higher quality than the above Naval Cutlass, and it features a more detailed grip design and a longer blade. A polished brass basket provides hand protection and has a beautiful image of a ship's anchor. The cutlass measures 32 1/2 inches (82.6 cm) overall and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces (1.1 kg). Where the grip and blade meet, the blade measures 1 1/8 inches (2.9 cm) wide and 3/16 inch (.5 cm) thick. The tempered high carbon steel blade is 26 1/2 inches (67.3 cm) long and can be custom engraved with a maximum of three lines of text. Please specify the desired location and orientation of the engraving when ordering. Also, note that the cutlass cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, however, you can easily sharpen the blade yourself. Included with the cutlass is a 100 percent genuine leather scabbard with solid brass accents. The scabbard weighs an additional 7 ounces (.2 kg).
