The magnifier has a large 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter ground glass lens and produces a clear magnified image.
The magnifier comes in a handsome felt lined solid hardwood case with hardwood guides to secure the magnifier.
The top of the case has a diamond shaped solid brass inlay.
The magnifier is 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm) long and weighs 9.8 ounces (278 grams).
The magnifier with hardwood case weighs 2 pounds (907 grams).
Custom brass plaques are available for the outside and/or the inside of the lid.
Note that the inlaid brass diamond cannot be engraved.
