Magnifying the Date on a Coin Large Stanley London Brass Desk Magnifier $28 The Large Three-Legged Magnifier is a beautiful and functional desk accessory.  The magnifier is made from solid brass and has a special clear coating that never requires polishing and will not tarnish.  This is our highest quality magnifier, featuring a large 40 mm (1 19/32 inch) diameter viewable area.  The magnifier uses precision two-element ground glass optics for clear 3-power magnification with a flat field that is sharp even at the edges.  The power of the magnifier is adjustable by rotating the threads.  The magnifier measures 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm) in diameter and weighs 6.5 ounces (184 grams).  The height of the magnifier can be adjusted between 2 inches (5.1 cm) and 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm).  Curved custom engraving is available around the top of the magnifier.  As the engravable area on the rim is very small, we suggest a simple engraving font such as Arial or Times New Roman. (47 mm) in diameter and weighs 3.6 ounces (103 grams).  The magnifier contains a two-element ground glass lens set and the power is adjustable by rotating the threads.  The height of the magnifier can be adjusted between 1 7/8 in. (47 mm) and 2 5/8 in. (67 mm).  Curved custom engraving is available around the top of the magnifier.  As the engravable area on the rim is very small, we suggest a simple engraving font such as Arial or Times New Roman.
